Holly Jackson is an author who has written ‘A Good Girls Guide to Murder’, ‘Good Girl, Bad Blood’, ‘As Good as Dead’, ‘Five Survive’,’ Kill Joy’ and soon coming ‘The Reappearance of Rachel Price’.

Her agency ‘RCW Literary Agency’ explained that Holly grew up in Buckinghamshire and started writing stories from a young age, completing her first attempt at a novel aged fifteen. She graduated from the University of Nottingham with a 1st class degree and a master’s in English, focusing on literary linguistics and creative writing.

Holly Jackson lives in London and her hobbies include binge-playing video games and pointing out grammatical errors in street signs.

Jackson was inspired to write the “A Good Girls Guide to Murder” series (includes two other books that follow on) by the world of true crime: podcasts and documentaries.

Jackson’s book, ‘A Good Girl’s Guide to Murder’ won the British Book Awards, Children’s Book of the Year, in 2020. Her books have also been nominated for multiple awards, ‘A Good Girl’s Guide to Murder’ was also nominated for the Goodreads Awards, Best Young Adult Fiction, in 2020.

According to Harper Collins, Jackson’s global book sales have now reached an astonishing six million copies!

Her book coming out on April 2nd, 2024, ‘The Reappearance of Rachel Price’ is about: sixteen years ago, Rachel Price vanished, and young Bel was the only witness, but she has no memory of it. Rachel is gone, long presumed dead, and Bel wishes everyone would just move on. But the case is dragged up from the past when the Price family agree to a true crime documentary.
